This is to inform you that there is a scheduled downtime at MedNet for all services.

The following services will be affected:

  • Eligibility Check on MedNet’s Online Portal.
  • Prior approvals via E-Authorization, Riayati and MedNet’s Online Portal.

In view of the above, we request you to kindly accept all MedNet members by conducting a manual eligibility check using insured member’s physical / E-cards OR via DHPO Portals (Search members) with valid E.I.D Number.


Furthermore, please follow below contingency protocol during the downtime:

  • All OP services that require prior approval please proceed with the services, if medically required, and once the system is up and running, please send it for MN’s approval.
  • For IP services, Emergency cases to be accepted without prior approval as per regulatory guidelines and to be submitted only after the completion of the downtime.
  • For Pharmacy medications please refer to attached PBM Downtime Contingency Plan.

Notes: Normal Exclusions would still apply during the planned down time.
